Avicenna’s has extended its Information Governance training to all independent pharmacists. Salim Jetha, CEO of Avicenna, said: “IG is such an important issue for pharmacy that we realised the need to offer this training to the widest audience possible. Avicenna’s IG toolkit offers the independent pharmacist a step-by-step, walk through guide, of how to adhere to the latest and most comprehensive IG guidelines. The package is supported by archived web seminars allowing the programme to be accessed anywhere and anytime, allowing the pharmacist to continue their day job knowing they can complete their training in the evening, or even from the comfort of their home. Avicenna supports members in many different areas, including advising on regulatory issues.
