Pharmacy Business editor wins Young Pharmacy Writer of the Year award
Pharmacy Business editor Neil Trainis picked up the Young Pharmacy Writer of the Year accolade at the Avicenna Awards held at London's Ismaili Centre today.
The publication, run by the Asian Media and Marketing Group, was hailed by Avicenna chief executive Salim Jetha for its breaking news, in-depth features and exclusive interviews with the biggest names in pharmacy.
Neil was presented with the award by Jetha, Avicenna chairman David Gration and Jonathan Mason, national clinical director for pharmacy at the Department of Health, who was on the judging panel for the awards.
"It's fantastic to have won the award," Neil said. "It's just reward for all the hard work we have put in on the magazine and the website."
