Alliance Healthcare has attempted to make it easier for pharmacists to order its products by introducing new customer service telephone numbers.

The pharmaceutical company also said it has reduced the number of customer contact numbers which it believes will “make contact simpler and more straight forward.”

“The decision follows the successful centralisation of the Alliance Healthcare customer service teams to a single national customer service centre based in South Normanton, Derbyshire, from its local customer service centre locations,” Alliance Healthcare said.

Sarah Rowe, head of customer service at Alliance Healthcare, said: “This is a truly fantastic change by our business – for our customers. We’re in a great place at the start of 2018 to ensure our service to customers is at the high standard that they rightly expect.”

The new number for retail customers is 0330 100 0448 and the specials customer service centre number is 0344 854 4998.
