The Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE) on Tuesday announced the start of a new batch for the Clinical medication review e-course.
The 12-week long e-course, which will begin on 4th March 2019, is suitable for pharmacy professionals working in any sector of practice, particularly those working in community pharmacy or starting off in general practice or care homes.
It aims to equip the pharmacy professionals with the clinical knowledge needed to identify medicines issues and help them to make clinical decisions based on key information and the patient’s ideas, concerns and expectations. The course is also offering the opportunity to discuss clinical dilemmas and shared decisions, such as deprescribing or initiating medicines, with peers in an online discussion forum.
There will be a number of reading weeks to accommodate busy working periods and also to allow learners to reflect on and consolidate last weeks’ learning.
