The Centre For Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE) has announced the launch of their new Optimise programme Insulins: focus on adjusting dose according to blood glucose levels.

This new programme enables pharmacy professionals to feel more confident when interpreting blood glucose levels and suggesting insulin dose adjustments. It may last up to one hour, including 20 minutes preparation and 40 minutes small group learning.

The CPPE Optimise programmes are a series of learning programmes for pharmacy professionals working in hospitals and primary care. They are specifically aimed at advancing the learners knowledge and skills. The programmes also provide clinically focused learning from experts across the country and help the learners to optimise their patients’ treatment in different topic areas.

Those who work in clinical setting, can work through the Insulins Optimise programme with their colleagues.
