Huge impact on pharmacy

Ash Soni, former President of RPS, commented: “Ramniklal Solanki CBE was a man who transformed the pharmacy media environment after the launch of Pharmacy Business. He was a gentleman in my dealings with him, but someone with a strong sense of purpose and determination in what he wanted. He created confidence in those around him and gave visibility to many from ethnic backgrounds when they had, for a long time, been invisible.

“Through the Pharmacy Business Awards he gave an opportunity for excellence to be recognised and his ability to ensure senior Government representation helped to demonstrate what pharmacy, community pharmacists and their teams could achieve, given the opportunity. He will be sadly missed but I know he will live on through his family and his legacy is assured.”
