Christmas can be a troubling time for heartburn and indigestion sufferers, as some festive foods can trigger an attack.
Market leading heartburn and indigestion brand Gaviscon has teamed up with culinary experts Great British Chefs to help consumers embrace the season and enjoy some delicious winter dishes, such as pot roast brisket with root vegetable mash, which are a touch lighter without compromising on flavour.
The partnership will see the brand and chefs collaborating on content such as handy advice on preparing food for your family and jazzing up an old festive faithful – the Brussels sprout.
The activity will also be supported by digital and social media activity, including a competition to win a luxury Fortnum & Mason Christmas Tea Hamper worth £150.
The Great British Chefs partnership forms part of a wider integrated campaign across multiple touchpoints, with advertising centring on a new Christmas-focused creative. The £2.5 million spend will be split across a new festive-focused TVC, radio spots, print advertising, out-of-home and digital paid search.
To drive awareness in pharmacy, the brand is launching a six-week campaign with independent pharmacies from 18 November, providing staff with informative detail aids and training guides and extending brand relevance at point of sale with shelf wobblers.
