Alliance Healthcare four to travel over 1,000 miles for cancer charity

A team from Alliance Healthcare is embarking on fund-raising challenge which will see them visit the company’s 17 sites across more than 1,000 miles and four countries in under 40 hours.

The four company employees taking part, Michael Fowler, Debbie Ullsten, Michael Stocks and Darren Hill, are aiming to raise £10,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

They will begin their journey at Alliance Healthcare’s Belfast Service Centre before travelling to Scotland by ferry then Manchester, Wales, Exeter, London then back up north where they will visit another seven sites before finishing in Leeds.

“We are full of excitement and nerves for everything this challenge entails; covering the distance in the expected time will be daunting enough, but completing the challenges set by each site is really going to test us,” Fowler said. You can follow their progress at https://goo.gl/QeZXGX
