The Queen stopped off in Merton to meet high achievers in the south-west London borough as part of her Diamond Jubilee tour of Great Britain including leading figures from Nelsons the UK’s largest manufacturer of natural healthcare products.
She met Robert and Patrick Wilson chairman and deputy chairman of Nelsons who gave her some insights on Nelsons’ contribution to the natural healthcare industry.
“This was an extraordinary high point for my brother Patrick and I and we were extremely proud when the Queen said she knew of Nelsons products” Robert said. “Nelsons played an important role throughout the day ensuring the Queen and her guests were happy and we are honoured to have been part of her Diamond Jubilee celebrations.”
Nelsons are no strangers to royalty. In 2009 Prince Charles visited their manufacturing plant in Wimbledon.
