The Swindon-based British retail company, WHSmith, last week launched a new store concept that includes a licensed pharmacy in Gatwick Airport.
This is in partnership with the Well Pharmacy group. The store, located at the North Terminal, sells more than 2500 health and beauty lines along with the usual stationery, books and gifts.
“As part of an ongoing partnership with Well Pharmacy, the UK’s third largest pharmacy chain, we are delighted to open a new store format within Gatwick Airport, North Terminal,” a WHSmith spokesperson said.
“This latest store offers customers a one-stop-shop solution ahead of their journey, to include the broad range of products they would expect from a WHSmith, as well as our 2,500 health and beauty lines.”
The launch of the 5,000 sq ft store follows successful trials in Southampton and Southend airports.
