Major trade bodies have come together to prepare a Resilience Guidance to support pharmacy teams in their response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Published by PSNC, in partnership with NPA, CCA and AIM, the joint guidance addresses three aspects of an NHS pharmacy’s terms of service – opening hours, responsible pharmacist and unplanned (emergency) closures.

PSNC advised pharmacists to also consult recently revised standard operating procedure (SOP) for community pharmacies.
