The Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE) has launched a respiratory therapeutics e-course for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

The e-course covers information on inhaler technique and nebular use, common respiratory conditions, and the management of specific conditions and respiratory diseases.

The e-course uses interactive activities, audio and video learning to help learners understand what the fundamentals of respiratory therapeutics are, and how to assist with the management of specific respiratory conditions and diseases.

“On completion of the programme, learners will be able to apply safe and appropriate medicines optimisation for people living with respiratory disease, and use current respiratory guidelines and standards to support evidence-based decisions around the treatment of respiratory disease,” the CPPE said.
