The Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee (PSNC)’s final Covid-19 Cost Claims Workshop for community pharmacy contractors is now available to watch on-demand.

Over 350 contractors watched last night’s live online event about claiming for the extra costs they incurred due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Nearly 96 per cent of attendees found it useful, with almost 90 per cent saying they would recommend it to others.

Contractors have until 15th August 2021 to claim for their pandemic-related costs using an agreed claim form provided by the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA).

PSNC is keen to ensure that contractors don’t miss out on the opportunity to claim for their Covid-19 costs. Therefore at regular intervals, it had organised a workshop for community pharmacies on Covid cost claims.

During yesterday’s online workshop PSNC’s CEO and Director of Pharmacy Funding explained the deal reached with HM Government, described the NHSBSA claiming process, and worked through some examples.

Given the time between the two events, this webinar was able to include a little more detail about how the process applies in specific scenarios and contractors had the chance to ask questions again. It also includes subtitles to make it easier to follow.
