The British Skin Foundation and ITN Productions Industry News are jointly producing ‘The Ages of our Skin’, a news-style programme taking an unfiltered look at skin across all age groups.

The programme, anchored by an ITN Productions Industry New presenter from their London Studios, will raise awareness and understanding of different skin conditions and the importance of skin care across all ages.

With a combination of interviews of the industry figures, news-style reports and sponsored editorial profiles from leading organisations and industry innovators, it will address the myths and misinformation with scientific advice from industry experts.

Matthew Patey, CEO of the foundation said: “Following a successful campaign with ITN Productions Industry News in 2021, the British Skin Foundation are excited to be collaborating again on a brand-new project. The skin is the body’s largest organ and it’s important to take care of it throughout our entire lives. We’re looking forward to exploring ‘The Ages of our Skin’ alongside our experts in 2022.”

Commenting on the joint production, Nina Harrison-Bell head of ITN Productions Industry News said the new programme would throw light on the “exciting research and developments leading dermatology into the future.”

The show will cover people with different skin conditions and will talk about what more needs to be done to prevent stigma associated with various skin types, alongside highlighting the BSF’s role in funding research into advancements of treatment and cures.

It will be launched at the British Association of Dermatologists’ Annual Conference taking place on July 5, 2022 at the SEC, Glasgow and will be supported by an extensive marketing communications campaign led by BSF and supported by ITN Productions.
