Key Summary

  • GPhC will delete all pre-2021 revalidation records from September 1 for system improvement
  • Records from 2021 onwards will remain accessible on myGPhC
  • Pharmacists and technicians must manually save any older data before August ends

The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) has announced the removal of the old revalidation data uploaded by pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to myGPhC before 2021, from September 1.

The planned data maintenance project followed by GPhC has led to the decision of deleting historical and irrelevant data from the database.

The project aims for improved performance and enhanced user experience at myGPhC.

It will affect all pharmacists and pharmacy technicians registered with the GPhC who submit revalidation records every year.

However, the records submitted post 2021 will continue to be accessible in myGPhC.

For those who require their data before 2021 can either screenshot or copy paste it from myGPhC prior to August. The GPhC does not allow a download option as well as any other technical assistance.

The clean-up process will begin on a rolling basis, where fresh revalidation data of four years will be displayed in myGPhC from 2021 until 2024.
