The UK’s largest independent pharmacy, Well Pharmacy, has announced the appointment of Katie Jacob to the role of chief finance officer.
Jacob will lead the finance operation at Well, in addition to overseeing the company’s innovative Healthcare Service Centre and its Home Delivery Service, working closely alongside CEO, Seb Hobbs, in driving the organisation’s ambitious growth and transformation strategy.
Katie said: “I am delighted to join Well at such an important time for community pharmacy. The last year has highlighted the need, the value, and the vital role that pharmacies on the frontline provide across the local communities in which we all live.
“Well Pharmacy’s skilled and specialist pharmacy teams are making a huge difference to our society looking after the wellbeing of our nation, and I am very much looking forward to supporting them now and in the future together.”
Katie brings extensive experience backed up by an impressive career portfolio, having worked within the C suite in former roles including director of finance operation at Microfocus, finance director, customers at EDF Energy, head of group transformation at BT Telecom and as a consultant for McKinsey.
