The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency has issued a class 2 medicines recall notice for Olopatadine USV 1mg/ml eye drops.

Specific batches of this product are being recalled by USV UK Limited as a precautionary measure due to the identification of out of specification results for impurities during routine stability testing.

While the company’s investigation is on-going, community pharmacy contractors should stop supplying the specified batches immediately, quarantine all remaining stock, and return it to their supplier using their supplier’s approved process.
