COMMUNITY pharmacy contractors need to complete the Community Pharmacy Assurance Framework (CPAF) screening questionnaire by midnight on July 24.

They have to complete the process for each of their NHS pharmacies.

So far, 3,558 pharmacies have submitted the screening questionnaire.

The questionnaire, which is a part of NHS England and NHS Improvement’s (NHSE&I) contract monitoring process contains 10 active questions.

This year, CPAF is being carried out in accordance with the new NHS Regulations that was introduced towards the end of 2020.

It is an annual requirement of the Terms of Service that contractors complete the process.

However, the CPAF process did not take place last year (2020-21), to support community pharmacies in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

The 2021-22 questionnaire is available on the NHS Business Service Authority’s web portal

In case of any query, contractors are advised to contact the NHSBSA through e-mail.
