Pharmacy2U recently became the first online pharmacy in the UK to get the B Corp accreditation.
B Corp certifications are awarded to organisations known for their commitment to social and environmental responsibilities, transparency and accountability.
The median score is 55 out of 200, and 80 is the minimum score a company needs to achieve the B Corp certification.
Leeds-based Pharmacy2U achieved this distinction by meeting the rigorous standards on governance, workers, community and environment and the customers, and scoring 91.4 out of 200 on the B Impact Assessment.
The company scored big in the customer section and was praised for its positive health outcomes of its services.
They were lauded for eco-friendly practices and its contribution towards sustainability.
