The Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) has invited feedback from Members and Fellows on the new regulations for the Royal College of Pharmacy.
The regulations are a critical element that lays the foundation for the rules, guidelines, and procedures that will be practiced in the new college.
It brings clarity to support the effective operation of the Charter after being developed after getting inputs from legal advisors as well as the previous feedback given by the Members and Fellows.
The feedback will be reviewed by the Assembly before enacting the regulations in line with the Charity Commission and Privy Council approval timetable.
RPS president, Professor Claire Anderson, said, "Together, we have the opportunity to build a royal college that supports excellence in practice, advances the safe and effective use of medicines and engages more impactfully with policymakers, the public, and fellow healthcare professionals.”
RPS CEO Paul Bennett said, “The support of Members and Fellows, including by sharing their views on these new Regulations, is vital - and will help ensure the strongest possible foundations for the new Royal College of Pharmacy.”
The new online feedback opportunity will be open for the Members and Fellows for 30 days, ending by midnight 29 March.
The college is expected to launch in April this year.
