Pharmacist Support has announced that its Trainee ACTNow well-being campaign will return later this month.

The profession’s independent charity’s campaign aims to support trainee pharmacists during one of the most important – and challenging – stages of their careers.

The campaign, which will run between Wednesday 27th to Friday 29th August, is built on the key message that prioritising well-being from day one is not a luxury – it’s essential.

Through a combination of free resources, peer insights, financial guidance and practical well-being tools, Trainee ACTNow empowers trainees to take care of their mental health as they transition from student to professional.

The campaign will explore the following themes:

  • Preparing for the foundation training year and building positive well-being habits from the outset – helping trainees understand what to expect and how to prioritise their mental health during this important transition.
  • Managing personal finances and budgeting with confidence – offering practical tools and guidance to support financial well-being throughout the year.
  • Thriving as part of a pharmacy team – exploring how to build positive workplace relationships and communicate effectively within a pharmacy setting.
  • “We know that the trainee year can be a time of huge growth, but also pressure and uncertainty,” said Danielle Hunt, Chief Executive of Pharmacist Support.

“We want every trainee pharmacist to feel seen, supported and equipped to look after their well-being right from the start. ACTNow is about building healthy habits for a healthier career.”

Trainees can receive the free ACTNow resources and continued support throughout the year by signing up to the charity’s newsletter at https://pharmacistsupport.org/about-us/contact-us/newsletter/.
