B&S Group COO Declan Glavin claimed that his career has been built on work ethic, curiosity, and a mindset of always giving his best.
In a LinkedIn post by the pharmaceutical distributor, Declan said, “Skill might open the door, but it’s the will to work hard and keep improving that truly drives growth.”
He believes setbacks are simply part of the journey, moments to learn, a time to reset, then push forward with renewed confidence.
When it comes to leadership, he emphasises the importance of understanding each person’s “Why.” “Everyone is motivated by something different. To inspire others, you need to know what drives them, being motivated yourself helps you to understand that even more.”
With a background in big pharma, Declan joined B&S drawn by the ambition and energy of a fast-growing, family-run business.
Starting back in 2021 as GM for SyriMed, Declan later took over wider responsibilities across distribution.
Looking ahead, Declan is proud of the teams across B&S and is very excited about our future: “Our business is growing, and with that growth comes opportunity and challenge.
