The Spring 2026 Covid-19 vaccination campaign will be held from 13 April to 30 June and the bookings will open from 7 April to 29 June via the national booking service as well as the 119 telephone booking service.


Pharmacy owners who wish to provide COVID-19 vaccinations as part of the spring 2026 campaign, but have not yet registered, can still do so by completing an electronic registration form.

Pharmacy owners who register at this stage are not guaranteed to receive supplies of the COVID-19 vaccine for the start of the campaign. The electronic registration form will be in place until 31 March.

NHS England has published a new patient group direction (PGD), which states that individuals above 5 years of age are eligible for the vaccine.

The legislation which enabled the development of National Protocols for the administration of COVID-19 vaccine lapses on 31st March 2026, but the Government plans to introduce a new, similar legal mechanism for the administration of vaccines - the Vaccine Group Direction.

This needs to be passed by the Parliament and is expected to be published on 1 April.
