Community Pharmacy England (CPE) is seeking the views of community pharmacy owners regarding their concerns related to winter, as well as the next committee meeting taking place next month.
The community pharmacy sector’s financial pressures remain stark, and the committee’s number one priority is to close the funding gap, as set out by CEO Janet Morrison at the recent Pharmacy Show in Birmingham.
The committee members will also discuss other pressing issues, such as monitoring activity for seasonal vaccination programmes, especially following confusion around changes to eligibility for COVID-19 vaccinations on the NHS.
The CPE is seeking financial compensation for the COVID-19 vaccination issues and seeking its members' views regarding the impact.
During the November meeting, the committee usually considers Community Pharmacy England’s work plans for the following financial year (2026/27).
The survey will also gauge the level of use and interest in hub and spoke dispensing, as well as continuing to track the intensity of various financial pressures on pharmacies.
The survey will close at 11.59 pm on 10 November to allow time for the committee to review responses before its meeting.
The CPE has clarified that only community pharmacy owners need to respond to the survey.
The CCA multiple branches do not need to respond, as their head offices will be contacted separately.
