The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has begun recruitment for its new Digital Hub in Leeds.
The regulatory body is hiring skilled digital and data professionals to modernise the regulation of medicines and medical devices.
It is looking for candidates with an interest or expertise in digital health, data science or regulatory delivery.
They will support the delivery of modern, secure infrastructure for clinical trials, safety monitoring, and real-time data use.
Located in Wellington Place in Leeds, this hub will play a vital role in building the MHRA’s digital capability and expanding its national presence.
MHRA chief executive Lawrence Tallon said the new roles will support the Government’s Plan for Change and bring "regulatory expertise closer to the people, organisations and sectors we serve."
The hub is located near key partners, including NHS England, the Department of Health and Social Care, Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust, Health Innovation Yorkshire and Humber, three major universities, and regulators such as the FCA.
"Our MHRA digital hub will play a pivotal role in strengthening our digital and data capabilities, supporting innovation in medical and health technologies, and enabling smarter, more agile regulation," he added.
