It helps streamline the dispensing process for repeat prescriptions, giving pharmacists more time to provide other services

Leading pharmaceutical wholesaler AAH Pharmaceuticals has launched a new PMR feature in collaboration with EMIS, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in pharmacy dispensing workflows.

ScriptCheck includes two distinct features: the Clinical Check, which reduces time spent in the dispensary, and the Accuracy Check, which confirms that the dispensed product matches the prescription, eliminating the need for manual checks.

Phil Maslin, senior pharmacy technology manager at AAH, explained that the new feature has been integrated into their AAH Connect+ PMR solution.

“At AAH, we’re always looking for new ways to support our customers’ success.”

“AAH Connect+ is our wrap-around PMR solution providing customers with industry leading software, a comprehensive range of quality hardware, fibre broadband, preferential pricing, ongoing support and training.

“When customers sign up for AAH Connect+, they will now also be able to access ScriptCheck.”

The new feature is delivered to their AAH Connect+ customers free of charge.

“ScriptCheck streamlines the dispensing process for repeat prescriptions, giving pharmacists more time to spend with patients, more time to provide other services such as Pharmacy First, and more time to grow their business and drive new revenue,” Maslin noted.

Maslin highlighted AAH’s commitment to technology-driven solutions, noting the success of AAH Cascade, an independent ordering portal now used by over 300 customers within a year of its launch.

He expressed confidence that ScriptCheck will benefit even more customers.
