Avicenna buys all 57 Dudley Taylor pharmacies

Avicenna Pharmacy has announced that it has acquired Warwick-based Dudley Taylor Pharmacies Ltd, consisting of 57 stores.

The latest acquisition by Croydon-based pharmacy chain has pushed its total number of pharmacies to 101 branches.

The new pharmacies are located across Yorkshire, the Midlands, the South of England and Wales. These are all community based, with a mixture of neighbourhood, high street, and health centre locations, the company said.

Dudley Taylor Pharmacies is a family-owned business with a pharmacy tradition dating back to 1948 when Dudley Taylor, a Cornishman, purchased his first pharmacy in Kenilworth, Warwickshire.
