Pharmacists reminded of transition payment supplement deadline

Pharmacists across the country are reminded to register for providing the Community Pharmacist Consultation Service (CPCS) by January 15 to be eligible for a £600 supplement to the transition payment.

The Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee suggested pharmacists to register for CPCS and claim their transition payment supplement before the deadline via NHS Business Service Authority’s Manage Your Service website.

Pharmacists are also asked to read the service specification and ensure they can fulfill the service requirements.

New CPCS registrations can still be made after January 15, but pharmacists will not receive the £600 payment supplement.
