Pharmacy Business has become the new associate member at PAGB,

Our partnership with PAGB is aimed at empowering community pharmacists and promoting self-care

We’re delighted to announce that Pharmacy Business has become the new associate member at PAGB, the consumer healthcare association.

This partnership is part of our commitment to bridging the gap between pharmacy contractors and OTC manufacturers.

Through this partnership, we aim to foster stronger engagement and empower community pharmacists to embrace OTC medicines, food supplements and promote self-care and its benefits to their patients.

On joining PAGB, Monica Bernal-Quiroz, associate publisher at Pharmacy Business, said: "Pharmacy Business is delighted to partner with PAGB to facilitate a platform where community pharmacies can embrace the full potential of OTC brands. At a time when NHS waiting times are at a record high, we believe that pharmacies can play a critical role in educating and supporting patients in self-care and the treatment of minor ailments, which will help free up GP appointments and hospital services."

Michelle Riddalls OBE, CEO at PAGB, remarked: “We’re delighted to welcome Pharmacy Business into membership. PAGB has represented the UK self-care industry for over 100 years and our associate members all play an important role in creating an environment for the consumer healthcare industry to thrive. We’re excited to work with Pharmacy Business to share our insights with the pharmacy community and to continue to deliver our vision for the UK to lead the way in consumer healthcare, empowering consumers to self-care with confidence.”

For over 25 years, Pharmacy Business has championed community pharmacies which are a vital part of the UK healthcare system. A trusted voice for community pharmacists, we keep our readers informed about sector developments and opportunities, while also offering a platform to raise their concerns.
