Numark has relaunched its price comparison platform PharmAssist, following feedback from independent pharmacy members.
The original platform, developed to support purchasing and ordering, required an update following the changes in the operating environment for community pharmacies in recent years.
Numark has undertaken a full redevelopment to ensure the tool continues to meet members' current needs.
The redesign was shaped by direct consultation with Numark members, including pharmacies currently using the platform and the previous users.
Key areas for improvement include product and pricing visibility, search functionality, navigation speed, and the overall ordering process.
The new features include:
- Web-based access across pharmacy environments
- Enhanced pricing and product information
- Greater control options at the point of order
- Order history tracking and oversight capabilities
Rhys Martin, Head of Proposition at Numark, said: "The redesign reflects what we have learned from our members about the challenges they face in their purchasing decisions. The platform is designed to reduce complexity in the ordering process and provide clearer information when making purchasing choices."
The platform is available to Numark members at no additional cost beyond their existing membership.
