Popular NHS-approved online pharmacy, Pharmacy2U has introduced Healthy Hearts programme for Carents, an organisation that supports middle-aged adults take care of their ageing parents.
The programme would provide carents free heart checks to ensure they can continue to provide the best possible care to their parents and relatives.
Jana Meier Head of Partnerships at Carents, said, "Our carents give so much every day, and often put off routine health checks because they’re busy supporting their older loved ones. “The Healthy Hearts programme is a powerful reminder that prevention matters, and that staying well means being able to continue caring with confidence. We're delighted to partner with Pharmacy2U on this free initiative. For carents, taking the time to protect their own heart health isn’t selfish, it’s essential."
To make the lives of carents easier, Pharmacy2U had earlier provided Family Account feature, which makes it easier to manage NHS prescriptions for relatives and dependants, to vital tools like Medicine Stock Checker and NHS New Medicine Service.
