The Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) has joined hands with Pharmacist Support charity to train community pharmacists on managing their time efficiently at their respective workplaces.

As part of the ongoing Wellbeing Workshop series, the time management workshop is scheduled to be held on March 16.

The decision to hold Wellbeing Workshops for community pharmacists follows mounting workload on community pharmacies due to the pandemic, ongoing Covid vaccination drive and social distancing norms.

“There’s a lot of pressure on community pharmacies right now. Vaccinations, increased prescription volume, social distancing rules and increasing numbers of unwell people are all making life tough,” the RPS said.

“…RPS is collaborating with Pharmacist Support, an independent, trusted charity providing a wide variety of support services to pharmacists and their families, former pharmacists and pharmacy students,” it added.

In the coming weeks the RPS is planning to deliver a number of practical workshops for its members and discussions focused on improving their mental health and wellbeing.

This webinar will explore techniques in planning, prioritising and delegation and touches on building confidence through assertiveness.
