The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) has launched its inaugural annual registrant perceptions survey, inviting all pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to participate.

The survey runs from 14 May to 11 June 2026 and takes approximately five minutes to complete.

GPhC aims to use the feedback to listen to the profession and refine its regulatory work, professional standards, and support services for registrants in Great Britain.

The survey focuses on registrants’ experiences in everyday practice, their opinions on GPhC professional standards, and how they view the way pharmacy is regulated.

Results will help identify opportunities for improving regulation, standards, and the support GPhC provides.

All responses are anonymous and will be analysed in aggregate to guide policy development and future decisions.

An optional equality monitoring section is included to help GPhC understand the diverse experiences within the profession, while all data is handled securely and in line with the Council’s privacy policy.

The survey is hosted by SmartSurvey Ltd, with safeguards to ensure confidentiality and to use responses only for research.

GPhC is urging all pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to take part and help shape the future of pharmacy regulation.
