The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) has brought back Lynsey Cleland to lead on a number of important departments in the role of chief standards officer.
Cleland had previously held a number of senior positions at GPhC, including director of Scotland.
After leaving in 2019, she took up senior executive roles in the Scottish health and care system. Her recent role was as director of quality assurance and regulation at Healthcare Improvement Scotland.
Cleland will lead the broad and impactful performances of GPhC’s various departments such as pharmacy education and training, pharmacy policy and standards, regulation reform, EDI, and external communications.
