PAGB Deputy CEO Laura Kelly has won the Future Leader Award at the Memcom Excellence Awards 2026 for her leadership and impact across her organisation.
At PAGB she oversees advertising services, supports membership growth and, following her appointment as Deputy CEO in 2025, helps to lead the organisation’s operations, strategy and advocacy activity.
Over the past year, Kelly has led several major initiatives, including streamlining the advertising approvals process, publishing a new edition of the Consumer Code for Medicines and updating PAGB’s complaints process.
She also authored PAGB’s report, Navigating AI in Consumer Healthcare Advertising, and has led PAGB’s utilisation of AI to improve efficiency and deliver value for members.
After winning the award, Kelly said: “I’m delighted to receive the Future Leader Award and honoured to be recognised alongside so many talented people from across the sector.
“The past year has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m proud to have led projects that are helping to shape the future of consumer healthcare while delivering value for our members.
“I’d like to thank my colleagues at PAGB for their continued support. This recognition reflects the collaborative way we work at PAGB and our shared commitment to raising standards and championing self-care. I’m excited about the opportunities ahead and the positive impact PAGB can continue to make for members and the industry.”
PAGB’s Regulatory Affairs Team was also shortlisted for Team of the Year, recognising their work supporting members with advice, guidance and regulatory intelligence as the UK regulatory landscape for medicines, medical devices and food supplements continues to evolve.
The team provides support across a wide range of regulatory issues and continues to play an important role in helping members navigate change and maintain high standards across the consumer healthcare sector.
The Memcom Excellence Awards recognise outstanding individuals, teams and organisations from across the membership, association and not-for-profit sectors, celebrating those making a significant contribution to their organisations and the wider sector.
