Wolfgang Ollig holds a PhD summa cum laude in Business Administration from the University of Regens

STADA, parent company of Yorkshire based pharmaceutical company Thornton & Ross, named Wolfgang Ollig as its new Group Chief Financial Officer.

Ollig replaces Mark Keatley who decided to step down for personal reasons. He will take up the new role on February 1.

Ollig has more than 15 years of experience in the role at various industries including medical and automotive. He has recently worked for hearing aid manufacturers WSA, A.S. Denmark, based in Singapore. Prior to this, he served Hella KGaA Hueck & Co ten years as Group CFO.

He also worked several years at McKinsey.

“Wolfgang’s deep knowledge in managing all financial aspects of a global company with broad portfolios, as well as his passion and strong credibility, will help to accelerate STADA’s ongoing growth journey,” said Peter Goldschmidt, STADA Chief Executive.

Ollig is expected to play a crucial part in realising the company’s vision of becoming the partner of choice in generics as well as in consumer health and to outperform the industry in terms of growth and profitability.

“I am really looking forward to joining the team and contributing to making STADA the leading company in the industry,” he said.
