The results of the Common Registration Assessment for trainee pharmacists have been published with 722 trainees passing the assessment.
A total of 1,174 trainee pharmacists appeared for the assessment on 11 November and the pass rate is 62 percent, up from 58 percent last year.
The assessment was held jointly by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland (Society).
GPhC chief standards officer Lynsey Cleland congratulated those who passed the assessment.
“For anyone who unfortunately did not pass the assessment at this sitting, there is information on our website on what options are available to you.”
Trainees who have passed the assessment and submitted their registration application and required documents will be added to the register on the next available registration date.
GPhC adds entries to the register on the first and fifteenth of every month.
