BD Rowa, a leading provider of automated storage and logistics solutions for pharmacies, hospitals and pharmaceutical facilities, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this month.
Founded in 1996 by Rolf Wagner, the Germany-based company has manufactured more than 15,000 dispensing robots for facilities across 60 countries.
BD Rowa is part of BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), one of the world’s largest medical technology companies.
Its customers include pharmacies, hospitals, pouch packaging centres and pharmaceutical wholesalers and its systems help optimise storage and dispensing processes, create operational capacity, and increase efficiency in day-to-day operations.
BD Rowa continues to follow Wagner's vision of making pharmacies more efficient and future-ready through automation, and remains committed to strengthening the industrial landscape of Eifel region in Germany.
The development and manufacturing is still done under one roof in Kelberg, and around 80 percent of its suppliers come from the region.

To mark the anniversary, BD Rowa is launching an international campaign under the guiding theme “30 Years Ahead”, as it seeks to be an indispensable part of healthcare delivery.
