The National Assembly for Wales has heard the oral evidence on the impact of the Covid-19 outbreak on community pharmacists.
The Royal Pharmaceutical Society in Wales (RPS Wales) along with Community Pharmacy Wales have given oral evidence to the Welsh Parliament’s Health, Social Care & Sport Committee’s inquiry into the impact of the Covid-19 outbreak.

- The need for all sectors of pharmacy to be recognised and valued as part of the NHS and to have access to all the related benefits.
- For the innovation and lessons learned from the pandemic to be taken forward to further enable patients to benefit from the wealth of clinical knowledge of pharmacists.
Commenting on the evidence session Suzanne Scott-Thomas said: “This inquiry is a hugely important piece of work that will have far reaching consequences. We were therefore pleased to have the opportunity at a very early stage to explain to MSs the important issues concerning pharmacy teams now and forthe future.”
