Alliance Healthcare appoints Ashley Kilgas as new sales director

Alliance Healthcare has appointed Ashley Kilgas as its new sales director with immediate effect.

Kilgas brings vast experience and knowledge of community pharmacy, accumulated over 25 years within the pharmacy industry, a statement from the company said on Tuesday (March 9).

“As Alliance Healthcare continues to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with community pharmacy throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and beyond, our commercial team remains resolute in supporting community pharmacy with all challenges to better serve UK patients,” the statement added.

Kilgas joined Alliance Healthcare 13 years ago and has successfully led the company’s UK surgical products category, overseeing the move of its subsidiary NWOS to a brand new purpose built operation in Leigh, Manchester set up as the company’s surgical hub in November 2018.

Julian Mount, managing director of Alliance Healthcare, said: “We have a fantastic team at Alliance Healthcare and Ashley has worked in a senior capacity across many different parts of the organisation, bringing with him a tremendous energy and spirit of innovation.
