Contractors to participate in winter vaccines campaign

Contractors will be asked to participate in a winter vaccines campaign as the second mandated health campaign for 2021/22, after the NHS England and NHS Improvement and Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee (PSNC) reached an agreement.

The contractors must undertake the health campaign “as part of their NHS contractual requirements,” the negotiator said in an update.

The move is a part of a national campaign, commenced on Friday (October 22), which seeks to encourage people to protect themselves and their loved ones from Covid-19 and flu.

The campaign materials will be delivered to pharmacies in early November, PSNC stated.
