Kit Britten elected chair of BGMA working group

Kit Britten has been elected chair of the British Generic Manufacturers Association (BGMA)’s Economic & Commercial working group.

He leads Advanz Pharma’s commercial operations in the UK & Ireland as vice president.

In his role as chair of the working group, Britten will report to and sit on the BGMA membership board and will help lead and steer the association’s position on commercial matters.

Britten commented: “I am delighted to be elected chair of the Economic & Commercial working group. This is a pivotal workstream at the BGMA and will be key ensuring that UK pricing and reimbursement systems meet the needs of the industry, patients, and the UK government.

“This will mean active involvement in discussions and negotiations with the Department of Health and Social Care.”
