MCAN Health announces sponsorship of the UK’s National Pharmacy Association

Rishi Sunak's vision for local pharmacies aligns perfectly with the core values of MCAN Health, the company said.

MCAN Health, a medical travel company based in Istanbul-Turkey, has announced its sponsorship of National Pharmacy Association (NPA), a not-for-profit organisation representing independent community pharmacies across the UK.

Gulsultan Dogan, the Founder and CEO of MCAN Health, said that their company is dedicated to improving global healthcare accessibility, which aligned perfectly with the NPA's mission to boost community health services in the United Kingdom.

On receiving the invitation letter from the NPA, Dogan said: ''We did not hesitate to show our support and positively answer the invitation letter.

“As a professional in the healthcare sector for years, I firmly believe medical care is a human right that should be accessible to everyone without enduring lengthy waiting lists.”

The company also maintained that its core values align seamlessly with UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s vision for community pharmacies.

Sunak has underscored the importance of enabling individuals to easily access healthcare services at local pharmacies to alleviate the burden on GP waiting lists.

MCAN Health added that it “acknowledges and values the power and contribution of local pharmacies in raising healthcare standards within the UK community.”

The company offers services in hair transplants, dental treatments, and plastic surgery for international patients in Istanbul.

As highlighted by Dogan, its core values include patient and quality-centric care, staying current with technological advancements, environmental and social responsibility, and a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion.
