Llanhilleth Pharmacy in Wales was recently sold for an undisclosed price to a first-time buyer, according to Christie & Co.
Located on the main street of the Welsh village of Llanhilleth, the community pharmacy dispenses an average of 7,370 items per month.
It has been owned by local GP, Dr Satish Narang, for 15 years, and was brought to market to allow them to invest in other ventures.
The pharmacy has been purchased by Mohammed Din of Din Healthcare Limited, a first-time buyer from Cardiff.
Christie & Co Senior Business Agent Richard Thomas, who facilitated the deal, said, “We are delighted to have successfully brokered the sale of Llanhilleth Pharmacy, which is a profitable business, underpinned by a substantial freehold building with excellent growth potential.
"A targeted marketing campaign resulted in good interest, with a sale agreed to Din Healthcare Limited, who I’m sure will take this pharmacy to further success.
“We are seeing good interest in South Wales at the moment, as buyers from across the border in England seek the increase in value that the Welsh contract offers.”
