Pharmacy owners should soon receive confirmation from NHSBSA that the 2026/27 Community Pharmacy Assurance Framework (CPAF) screening questionnaire will be available for completion from 1 July 2026 until 31 July 2026.

Community Pharmacy England (CPE) has issued a reminder for the submission as it is a mandatory requirement under the NHS community pharmacy terms of service.

Pharmacies must complete the CPAF every year and this is a demonstration of compliance with the community pharmacy contractual framework (CPCF).

The questionnaire has 10 questions and can be completed on the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) Manage Your Service (MYS) portal.

The questions will also be published on the NHSBSA website so that pharmacy owners can be prepared before entering the online survey tool.

NHSBSA will contact the community pharmacies on how to complete the screening questionnaire via email or from their Head Office.

CPE advises pharmacy owners to contact NHSBSA by emailing pharmacysupport@nhsbsa.nhs.uk if they have not received details of the questionnaire yet, or if they have any problems or queries completing the questionnaire.

Information collected from this questionnaire helps to identify whether a pharmacy needs visiting.
