The Department of Health and Social Care has issued a medicine supply notification for Buprenorphine (Butec) 15microgram/hour patches.
Butec will be out of stock until late January 2021.
Alternative brands of buprenorphine 15microgram will remain available in community pharmacies.
If alternative brands of buprenorphine 15microgram/hour transdermal patches (7-day) are not considered suitable, then Butec 5 and 10microgram/hour transdermal patches (7-day) is recommended for the patients.
