Pharmacy2U and chronic disease specialist Reset Health have launched a joint venture called Averly Health, a cardiometabolic care service operating on a national scale.

Announced in London on 5 October, the focus will be to provide care for obesity and related cardiometabolic conditions.

Averly Health will enable the NHS and industry healthcare partners to expand access, and address the problem of fragmentation that frequently complicates NHS chronic disease pathways.

The company consolidates stages like initial screening, independent prescribing, high-street pharmacy dispensing, and ongoing metabolic monitoring into a unified digital-first pathway and continuous outcome tracking.

Averly’s clinical pathway provides medication access with structured lifestyle and behavioural interventions, ensuring that patients receive ongoing monitoring to maintain muscle mass, mitigate adverse gastrointestinal effects, and prevent weight regain after treatment.

Oliver McGuinness, Chief Executive Officer of Reset Health, commented: “With the launch of Averly Health, we are proud to establish the UK's most comprehensive cardiometabolic care service. This sets a new standard for accessible, scalable health services designed to expand access and transform care in every postcode.

“Our new model has been designed to operate at scale, maintain the highest levels of clinical oversight and sustained support that patients need, while reimagining how the NHS can secure the best possible long-term outcomes for patients.”

The platform is designed to contract directly with NHS commissioning bodies, primary care networks (PCNs), and private healthcare partners, providing integrated digital dashboards that combine active clinical data with patient-reported outcomes.

Josh Bottomley, Chief Executive Officer of Pharmacy2U, stated: "The NHS and other healthcare systems need practical ways to extend access to care while maintaining high standards of clinical quality, safety and patient experience. Averly Health delivers those outcomes through one integrated service that is built for national scale, can respond to local needs and grow in line with commissioned demand over the long term."

The company aims to eliminate geographic disparities in metabolic care while providing healthcare commissioners with single-point contractual accountability.
