Superdrug has appointed Rachel Jones as Pharmacy Superintendent.
Jones joined the organisation in 2017 as a Trainee Pharmacist and moved up the career ladder.
She became Pharmacy Manager in 2018, and progressed through a number of senior leadership positions.
Jones previously served as Regional Healthcare Manager, where she was responsible for the clinical, operational and commercial performance of 23 pharmacies across the retailer's estate.
She previously spent more than two years as Clinical Excellence Manager, providing professional and regulatory oversight across Superdrug's pharmacy, clinic and Online Doctor services.
She currently has more than nine years' experience at Superdrug.
Jones is a registered pharmacist with both the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland (PSNI), and qualified as an Independent Prescriber in 2025.
As Pharmacy Superintendent, Jones will be responsible for the professional leadership and governance of Superdrug's pharmacy services, overseeing patient safety, clinical standards and regulatory compliance across the company's community pharmacy, clinic and digital healthcare operations.

The health and beauty retailer had delivered strong financial performance in 2025, registering overall growth across its retail stores and online channels.
Superdrug had earlier agreed to increase the pay of its pharmacists from 1 April after reaching an agreement with the Pharmacists’ Defence Association (PDA) union, according to media reports.
