The Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE) has now updated their Leading for Change programme.
The programme is open to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians from any sector who lead people or services in their organisation.
The programme's e-course and workshop content has been refreshed to reflect the recent release of the NHS Leadership and Management Framework.
The framework responds to reviews of leadership in health and care and supports the implementation of the 10 Year Health Plan for England.
The CPPE has aligned leading for change with their Primary Care Pharmacy Education Pathway (PCPEP) leadership module.
This means participants will learn alongside other pharmacy professionals from all sectors of pharmacy, creating opportunities to share experiences, develop new perspectives and build cross-sector understanding.
The CPPE has extended the programme to nine months for non-PCPEP learners, giving learners more time to reflect on their development, apply learning in practice and build leadership confidence over a longer period.
To provide a practical opportunity to demonstrate leadership by leading change in the workplace, the CPPE has updated the Quality Improvement Leadership Project.
Participants will now present their project outcomes and leadership journey to peers, while learning from the experiences and insights of others on the programme.
Leading for change helps learners become the confident, capable and adaptive leaders that the NHS needs.
